Our Easy-Fit kit protects your equipment in two ways:

• by using powerpole connectors making a mistake with polarity of your battery is a thing of the past
• fusing your equipment helps to protect the equipment itself and your batteries from damage.

It consists of:

• a fused lead that should be connected to the battery
• two fuses (5 Amp or 25 Amp) - that's one to use and one as a spare.
• two leads that can be used to connect 12 Volt equipment to the battery supply.

The kit is easy to fit (hence the name). Five minutes with wire strippers and a screwdriver and you will be able to relax knowing that your radio and battery are properly protected.

The Easy-Fit kit is equally as useful in the shack. Once you start using Powerpole connectors you will never go back to crocodile clips. This is a very cheap way to protect your investment in radio equipment!

We recommend the 5 Amp fuse for FT-817 type radios and all radios up to 15W o/p. For higher power radios we recommend the 25 Amp fuse. The Easy-Fit kit is perfect for all battery types.
