SUPA-LITE DIPOLES ARE NOW FITTED WITH A HIGH PERFORMANCE LIGHTWEIGHT BALUN
A range of lightweight HF dipoles using our new hardware. Ideal for the single band specialist!
"We don't believe that lighter full-size antennas exist"
The 80m version weighs in at just 435 g (15 oz.) - the others are even lighter.
Yellow PVC coated wire used for good visibility when on the ground for easier handling.
Fed with Mil-Spec RG174a/u coaxial cable (10 m - 33f t). A high-performance balun is fitted to attenuate troublesome common-mode currents. The feeder is terminated in BNC plug. We sell adapters for PL259 connectors.
Comes supplied on three Wirewinders just like the Band Hopper antennas. Extensions cords attached to the dipole ends for easy pegging. A back-guy for a pole is supplied. This can be used as a heaving line for the centre of the dipole where a pole is not used. NOTE: Supa-Lite dipoles are designed to be used with the centre of the antenna supported.
Antenna is supplied with pegs and one of our signature nylon carry bags!
Other resonant frequencies available to order. Just contact us to ask.
Resonance tested using the dipole in inverted V configuration with feedpoint at 6m above ground level.
Resonant frequency is approximate.
Power rating 100 Watts.
VSWR bandwidth for VSWR of 1.5:1 or less is plus or minus 1%.
Supa-Lite dipoles are made to order - usually adds 2-5 working days to despatch.

SOTAbeams Super-light halfwave dipole for 10m received yesterday, erected today using a 7m SOTA pole and worked Argentina using JT9 with 2.5w - 6887 miles. Later on, I went '/P' running my FT-817 with a SLAB to give the 'full 5W' on SSB and worked into the USA. What more could you ask for, simple, effective and outstanding value!
