Noise Nobbler; Common Mode HF Choke

If you suffer from noise, RF Interference (RFI) or RF feedback on the HF bands, one possible source is your own antennas! The feeder of your antenna can carry noise from inside your own house or your own shack outside and straight up to your antenna where it comes back down into your receiver. Our "Noise Nobbler" is an effective common mode choke that can be used to stop noise leaving your house and causing problems. But there's more, the Noise Nobbler also stops stray common mode RF entering your shack where it might cause problems with computers etc. The Noise Nobbler is far more effective than a clip-on ferrite choke and offers a common mode impedance of more than 1200 Ohms across the entire HF range!

Using the Noise Nobbler is easy. Just connect it in your feeder line as close as possible to the point where your feeder leaves the house. The Noise Nobbler is symmetrical and thus it can be used either way round.

The Noise Nobbler is also great for use in contest stations where it can help in enhancing the performance of receive antennas.

The Noise Nobbler is designed for use in coaxial feed-lines only and is rated at 125 Watts.

    Doesn't work

    Have tried coax input at both ends but doesn't work whichever way you set it up.
    also There is nothing to say which end is input and which end is output

    Well made bit of kit. Fitted into aerial coax as specified. Assume it is working OK because it has not stopped me hearing signals !.
