Adaptor 3.5mm Mono plug To 3.5mm Stereo socket

Ideal for connecting headphones with a stereo plug to the output socket of a mono amplifier.

Note: this item will not usually be needed for any of the products that we make, but might be helpful for use with other products. In our products: the output sockets are typically stereo, and not all of them cope well with mono plugs, so if connecting a speaker with a mono plug to one of our products then a mono socket to stereo plug adaptor might be required - the opposite of this item.

In this adaptor:

  • The tip and ring of the stereo socket are connected to the tip contact of the mono plug.
  • The sleeve contact of the stereo socket is connected to the sleeve contact of the mono plug.
