Mast Guying Kit GK7
Designed for guying most types of telescopic poles between 6 and 8 metres height. Guys at about 2m above ground (guying height varies depending on pole type)
Provides a stable 4-guy system for your telescopic pole/mast
- 4 x Aluminium Alloy Pegs
- 20m Hi-Viz Nylon Guying Cord
- 1 x Wire Winder
- 2 x Laser-Cut Guying Ring (one, plus a second as a spare) 28.5mm internal diameter.
Perfect for guying our 7m SOTAPOLES. Note: for guying a Tactical Mini or Tactical 7000hds mast we recommend the multi-function guying kit.
It is not suitable for guying a Carbon-6, as the Carbon-6 is too slim for the guying ring in this kit to work well.

After looking for a mobile pole (7m) and a guying kit GK7 I found these reasonably priced and P&P was reasonable too , I found the construction and assembly quite easy and having the guying kit for the pole was a great asset , having the winder and two guying rings and the hi viz guying lines (x4) , full marks for these two items , well worth the money too.
Another excellent accessory from Sotabeams
I purchased this item to guy out my 7m pole when using an end fed aerial, I changed out the guying ring for the next size down, which I already had, as the supplied ring sat slightly low on my pole. With the top sections of the pole bending in the wind the kit had no problems holding the pole in place with absolutely no movement at the bottom. Definitely a must have if you use a pole.
This guying kit is super-lightweight but strong enough to securely hold a Sota Pole and antenna during breezy British weather! I paired mine with some of the small wire winders and elastic to aid deployment and stowage.
The guy line ring adapter looks very innovative. Why not sell them too as separate item! Say four or six to a package.
As with other SOTAbeams products that I have, the guying kit is of excellent quality. The alloy pegs are very light but also very strong and sturdy. The guy ring is an ingenious idea and the nylon cord is perfect for the job. It holds my SOTApole in place very firmly. Full marks and highly recommended.
