Mini Wire Winders

Our Wire Winders have proved so popular that I have designed a cable-tidy specially for iPod/iPhone "ear buds". This little Winder keeps your headphone lead nice and tidy! Designed to look similar to our standard Wire Winders, it includes a fixture to allow the headphones to be secured with a rubber band (rubber band not included).

Use is so easy, just put the plug through the hole and wind on the lead in a figure-of-eight motion. Hold it in place with an elastic/rubber band. No more tangled leads and fits nicely in your pocket!

    These are SO helpful!

To be a fairly short item, the cord on "ear buds" seems to tangle VERY quickly! These Mini Wire Winders take care of that problem. I ordered several, thinking that was sufficient for the few buds I used with my radio, but my wife and the rest of my family love them, so I'm about to order quite a few more!

Great for short cables, awkward for longer ones

    Posted by VA7JBE on 23rd Sep 2016

These are ideal for shorter lengths (<3m) of wire or cord. I can squeeze 5m of 22awg insulated wire on mine, but it's a bit of a squeeze. At my most ridiculous I can fit one side of my 20m/40m linked dipole (10m of wire!) onto one of these winders. My packing philosophy trends towards light and compact, so it would be nice to see a version of these with deeper notches that could hold more wire comfortably. The bright color makes it easy to locate if you drop it in the field.

personally I find it too small to be very versatile in use

Great to wind thin guy rope around!

As the title says, I use these to wind my Sotabeams guying kit for easy deployment with no knots or tangles.

    Nice winder

Its a litte hard to fasten a permanent elastic band on the winder, as no mounting hole for it.
