There are few items that I carry on every activation but my Velcro straps always come along. They provide a versatile and quick way to attach SOTApoles to fence posts or trig points!
The extra-length 92cm x 2.5cm straps are ideal for attaching aerials to fence posts, or used as a pair, to attach aerials to trig points. Each strap weighs less than 9 g and they always find a place in my rucksack. I have had mine for about four years and they are still going strong! They are durable and easily adjustable with a special buckle system.

The best Velcro Straps
Ideal for temporary fixing of a pole to a silver birch tree and also a weather station to balcony railings. The straps hold firm and do not "stretch" like other Velcro products in windy and wet conditions. Excellent!

Too Short
It's a shame, but not served. Should have 25 cm more. Spanish geodesic vertices have 30 cm in diameter. I am not satisfied with the product. 73 de Dani EA5FV. Very Handy
I have not used the straps yet but I am very impressed with them. These are not cheap and nasty copy they are manufactured by Velcro. I am sure they will be a much used item for portable operations.

velcro tape too short
the length is good but the velcro tape is too short done. sometimes it isn´t easy to fix them.

Don't leave home without them
These are real Velcro straps not a cheap copy, which means they stick and stay stuck. For SOTA work there essential. They also keep my beam attached to my pole which makes carrying it easier. Also used for attaching the pole to a post when i don't want to use a guying kit.

For portable operating with a support pole, these velcro straps are a must. They hold very securely, are very long at 92cm you will find them indispensable.
