Lightweight Antenna Wire (500m)
A bargain price for 500 m (1640 ft) drums of our lightweight antenna wire (Yellow Hiz Viz or Military Green). This thin wire has a stranded tinned copper conductor and a PVC jacket. It is ideal for making lightweight antennas or for use as radials. It is the same type of wire that we use for our own range of lightweight antennas.
A nice ductile wire for easy handling and winding.
Suitable for power levels up to 150 Watts at 50 Ohms.

I bought a 500m drum (in green) of this for experimenting with antenna designs. This is good strong wire and is barely visible once strung up. Good for sensitive neighbours. The only downside would be it is a knot magnet is big lengths. But it’s a small price to pay for what has served me very well.
Have used this wire to build several linked dipoles. Light weight and works fine for my uses portable and for weekend deployments. Works great with portable poles and various fishing rods / push up masts.
I bought this cable to re-create lightweight versions of the Clansman Antennas and use them with Richard's sota-poles. The Authentic antenna wires are strong but are too heavey for the poles. This lightweight antenna wire has made the re-make possible, it is strong and more importantly the weight is ideal. I've managed to make the counterpoise under 100g including a former. Really impressed by the consistently good service, the communication from Richard on the Chat tool or via Twitter is superb. Highly recommended.
