They are great for most antenna wires (excluding the cables) They are great for dipoles, end-feds, and counterpoise wires.

Great product for winding anything really , however I use them for storing antennas and in this instance a 5mtr feeder of coax , just the job

Great little product. So much better than anything you can do yourself.

    Handy for short wires

Posted by Joe N2CX on 9th Jul 2014

These midi-winders are a super addition to the wire-winder line. They're excellent for keeping those short radials or end-fed wires free from tangles in you backpack. And, of course the figure-8 winding method is best for quick winding and un-winding.

Good for taking care of smallish wire antennas

Posted by Tom - GØSBW on 20th May 2014

They keep my half wave PTFE antennas for the upper bands tidy and readily deployable. I use one for each antenna. Noe more snagging and unwanted kinks.

Only thing, that you will need to mount your own elastic band.

A well designed bit of kit; there's nothing worse than a tangle of wire!
