Our Easy-Fit kit protects your equipment in two ways:
- by using PowerPole® connectors, making a mistake with polarity of your battery is a thing of the past
- fusing your equipment helps to protect the equipment itself and your batteries from damage.
Our Easy Fit Kit consists of:
- a 20cm fused lead that should be connected to the battery
- two fuses (choice of 1, 2, 4, 5,10, 15, 20 or 25 Amp) - that's one to use and one as a spare.
- two 20cm leads that can be used to connect 12 Volt equipment to the battery supply.
Note that we use high quality connector blocks (max wire CSA 6mm2) with built in wire-protectors for best performance.
The kit is easy to fit (hence the name). Five minutes with wire strippers and a screwdriver and you will be able to relax knowing that your radio and battery are properly protected.
The Easy-Fit kit is equally as useful in the shack. Once you start using PowerPole® connectors you will never go back to crocodile clips. This is a very cheap and effective way to protect your investment in radio equipment!
We recommend the 5 Amp fuse for FT-817 type radios and all radios up to 15 Watts o/p. For higher power radios we recommend the 25 Amp fuse. The Easy-Fit kit is perfect for all battery types.

Great quality fused power cables
There's not a lot to say about some power cables, but these are great quality, the fuse and fuse holder are really robust and the PowerPole plugs are fitted well.

Powerpole battery kit
This kit is ideal for KX3, FT817 etc for easy fast and accurate connections while /P. I can assure you it is much easier to buy these than to make them yourself. Thanks for making these available.

Have spare power pole connectors to hand for instant use. Especially useful fuse leads for small and high currents.

That's more like it!
Great bits of kit that has made life so much easier connecting everything together. No more fiddly connections when hands are cold and stiff and the eyes can't quite see if the connection is really good enough. I had read reviews about how good they were and now I know for myself!
