PowerPole® 4-Way Connector Box
PowerPole® connectors are the best way to distribute DC in your shack or in the field. Once you start using them, the urge to convert all your DC distribution to them becomes inevitable. Our PowerPole® connector box is rated at 25 Amps. PowerPole® connectors are impossible to connect the wrong way round; reliable and easy to use.
The SOTABEAMS PowerPole® 4-way makes light work of connecting four things together. For example, four PowerPole® connectors allow you to connect a radio and amplifier to your battery while leaving one socket free for another accessory. Naturally we have designed the PP 4-Way to be light and rugged too.
Speaking of design, the PP 4-Way is rated at 25 Amps; no mean feat for a PCB design. To acheive this we had to use a special up-rated PCB with double weight copper. We also use some clever design to improve the current handling even more: ultrawide traces are used on both sides of the board. These are roller tinned (both sides) to reduce the resistance even more. Finally we use plated through vias, carefully located to ensure an even current distribution between each face of the board. This is a unit built to a high specification!
The PP 4-Way uses genuine Andersen PCB contacts too for lower contact resistance and improved reliability.
The PP 4-Way is available in three forms:
- The PCB kit consists of: 1 x PCB, 8 x PCB contacts, 4 x red connector shells, 4 x black connector shells.
- The PCB + enclosure kit adds an ABS box, laser-cut front panel and board mounting hardware.
- Alternatively you can buy the PP 4-Way ready-built and tested.
Dont forget to order a bargain pack of connectors!

Great kit to keep all the stuff working on 13.8 volts. I have converted all the equipment to powerpoles (I bought some smaller 15A terminals for the low current items).
As usual, service was excellent
This kit is the best for those days out of the shack or indeed in the shack and you need more connections. Its very easy to build, really handy for splitting power and of course very light for travelling to SOTA or portable locations.
Never used Powerpoles before, so bought this ready built and tested. Have wired it up in the shack to 3 radios - it's fantastic and safe, and will be using it portable in the next few weeks.
Having converted much of my DC leads to power poles already, this item allows stuff to be shared safely, plus is also useful when out portable.
Service was excellent - ordered Friday, delivered by post Monday. Many thanks Richard.
Great kit, doddle to build and perfect item for the portable bag.
In the process of converting all DC items in shack to the powerpole standard.
Was in 2 minds with cost etc but once I received it I was over moon. Its very well built and I'm 100% satisfied - which is no mean feat for me :)
This is just what I needed to avoid the possibility of mis-connecting a device to a PSU, and using the same PSU on a transceiver and other device in the shack. 4 stars as it is rather small and light, it is possible for it to become entangled with the wires! Blu-Tak will adhere it to a surface
Knowing the quality of all products from SOTABEAMS, I sent for this kit just to give me something to do while my shack was being built.
With clear and simple instructions it was constructed in a matter of minutes. Now I couldn't live without it. Everything that requires 12 volts now has an Anderson plug fitted and (so far) I've always got access to the supply.
As always a solid and reliable addition to the station.
You don't have a dedicated PS for everything in the shack, so at some point things will have to begin to share. This is when the SOTABEAM PP 4-Way comes to the rescue. It's heavy duty; it's neat; it's perfect. I got mine assembled - the design is excellent and the craftsmanship is beautiful. You're gonna wonder how you got along without it!
Safely cleared up a tangle of wires
