Heavy Duty Antenna Wire Military Green (50m)
A bargain price for 50 metre (160 ft) drums of the new Heavy Duty version of our popular Military Green wire. This heavy duty wire has a stranded tinned copper conductor and a UV-stable PVC jacket. It is ideal for making permanent antennas. The 50 metre reel size is perfect for making most HF antennas (such as an 80m dipole). Our exclusive Millitary Green cable jacket colour is unobtrusive in many applications - perfect for antennas, radials and counterpoises. With a resistance of less than 1 Ohm/50 metres, it's great for high power use too!

very good quality product, ideal for perminent or portable use.
first order from Sotabeams. Ordered this cable on Tuesday and I'm very happy with the quality of the cable and the speed of delivery. That arrived Thursday morning I Will be using Sotabeams again for sure.

Used my first drum mostly on my doublet. Open wire ladder line fed.
Bought another to build my Cobweb antenna.. Multistranded is good and easy to solder, I would say the ideal size for this Antenna.
So yes I bought more, enough said.
Good strong wire, made various antennas from it. It stands up to abuse and bad weather conditions.
Sturdy wire, convenient length, nearly invisible against the sky unless you know exactly where to look. Just the job!
Second time ive bought this wire from Sota, the first wire i put up was a bit short, i have just had a new roof fitted and wanted to make a bigger inverted v shape end fed and as the scaffold was still up i managed to get to the chimney stack during the work (thanks guys for leaving up the scaffold) Used an egg insulator so that the wire could slide through in the wind and attached that to a short pole on the stack. Looks well and almost used the full length. I know its strong and good quality from the last batch i used.
I purchased this heavy duty wire for a summer antenna project. I ordered one afternoon and is was delivered the following morning, excellent service. The wire itself is excellent quality and highly recommended.
100% ok, very nice for holiday
Excellent wire for building experimental antennas.
