    Great Cable

Posted by PAUL DAVIS on 2nd Mar 2022

I measured out 10 meters of cable and put a banana plug on one end, then secured the other to a plastic spacer. I then used some more of the cable the other end of the spacer purely for tension. I plugged it into my Icom AH-705 and it tunes to every band bar 160m with an SWR 1.1 to 1.5 Very pleased.

    Antenna Wire - Lightweight - 100m

Very light stranded wire. I would not trust it to bear any strain but supported by cord does the job and does not make the antenna heavy to support. I chose the hi-viz option as I'm not expecting any objections and I want to see where it is!

    Thin antenna wire

Posted by Preston on 10th Apr 2020

Well I got the order in about 10 days from the UK to Mississippi in the USA, which was surprising in these virus days. Yes it is thin and strong too. I was very pleased with this purchase. It will be great for any portable operation. I’m using it now with my 9:1 UNUN in my backyard. Looking out my bedroom window it takes a moment to find it hanging in the air. So if you need good strong wire that almost invisible, then this wire is for you. 73 wd4dda

    Yellow lightweight wire

Posted by John Leahy on 2nd Mar 2020

I have made a few antennas so far and have found the shield to be quite smooth if not slippery which is a good thing as it should not grab in the bush. While it is flexible I was hoping for a limpy line but this should do the job quite well. I was pleased with the quantity vs the cost.

    Works well for me!!

I only operate barefoot at the moment and needed a stealthy wire for an antenna project which goes out of the window of my flat. This fits the bill perfectly!!
